The pendant is about 2" in diameter, and about 1/4" thick. The sides and the bail hole are burnt the back is signed (STOREY ©).  It is hung by a 16 gauge sterling silver bail on a 20" black leather cord, with a large pure silver S hook claps.  If you need a shorter/longer or a different color cord, Please contact me.

Owl is an ancient and sacred bird embodying wisdom and discernment.


DETACHMENT : Adapt at disappearing from view and favoring the night, the owl is the animal that symbolizes esoteric wisdom and secrecy. Seen only at twilight, the owl teaches us to turn a disadvantage into an advantage, with it's ken eyes and exceptional hearing, enables it to pick out pray at night.
 WISDOM : To walk with the owl at twilight or otherwise known as (owl light), is to get in touch with the inner soul of nature. 
The Cailleach is the Goddessof death, and the owl's call was believed to be and omen that someone would die, or the bird that calls for the souls. The Screech of an owl foretells either birth of a child or death of man. Owl lives on the edge of twilight and darkness, it is believed to tell the future, the owl is a totem bird of clairvoyance and astral travel.
Through Owl we realize that death in reality marks a beginning and not an end.
